It was evening in Paris, and through my screen I could see the Monterrey skyline bright and sunny behind him. We were in one of our monthly mentoring sessions, and I had been pouring out my anxieties for the past ten minutes. I wasn’t booked on enough stages. Other speakers were moving faster. The relentless competition for visibility on social media felt suffocating. I was all anxiety and very little rational thought.
